Corporate Social Responsibility
Anne-Marie was one of the drivers behind the ‘Sustainable Shipping Initiative’ and a founder member until she left LR.
Her focus on CSR has grown with involvement in:
- • Foreword to ‘CSR in the maritime industry’. L.L. Froholdt (Ed.) Springer Publications 2018
- developing and delivering, in conjunction with Dr Lisa Froholt at World Maritime University (WMU), an ongoing workshop on ‘Maritime Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility’
- speaking at WMU Maritime Women Global Leadership conference in 2014 on ‘Sustainability or CSR - the next challenge’
- Supporting the Scientific Committee organised by WMU associated with reviewing submissions for ‘Maritime Women: Global Leadership' publication 2015
- Lecturing at WMU - Climate change + marine industry = ? lecture to post graduate students Sept 2014 and Sept 2013
- Member of the Scientific Committee for papers to the MARENER 2017 International Conference for Maritime Energy Management (January 2017) at WMU
- Dissertation external reviewer Sept 2016 WMU in relation to ‘CSR in the maritime industry and the role of Institutions’ by Maria Carolina Jimenez Guerrero
- Stakeholder consultee in 2015 to Sustainable Shipping Initiative regarding their Roadmap towards a sustainable industry 2040
